Conscious intervention
doesn't work!
You know logically that your fear is out of proportion. You know your
fear will probably never happen but it does not stop the feeling of panic
coming about. You can feel anxious, nervous, your heart feels like its
beating faster, you may feel hot and even break out in a sweat your main
feeling is that you want to run away. Logic does not help you because
this behaviour, this reaction is outside of your conscious mind; it actually
comes from your subconscious mind.
Hypnotherapy and how we help Phobias or Fears
We know how to help to stop that unwanted behaviour, that old reaction
that could be as a result of something that happened long ago. It was
probably appropriate then, but is it now? Hypnosis and NLP help you to
be different in those same situations. In effect it makes it very difficult
for you to react the same way or to find that old fear. If you can't find
that old fear then you no longer have to feel anxious or use the avoidance
techniques. Your life becomes free of that old restriction. It is a wonderful
feeling to be free of a fear or phobia that has restricted your life for
a very long time.
